Hi, Sean! You and I know each other very well, but I'd better post something here for those who follow, and who don't know me.
First, great website, Sean, and now a terrific forum!
O.K.
I'm David Paterson, 65 years old, forced to retire early due to heart Bypass surgery in 1997. I live with my wife in Kawerau, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. East from Rotorua and southwest from Whakatane.
Almost all you need to know about me is on Sean's charity column on this website - 'Walk of Hope'.
David. |

Welcome David.
You discover once you put one of these sites up. The hardest part is getting them through the front door.
Hope you like the changes to the site. I moved away from using frames and put in a whole new user interface. To make it easier to use + more search engine friendly. |

Me again, Sean. Sorry I've been away for a while or more. Always changing what I'm doing, finding things to keep me busy.
I'm now 66 years old, don't we just keep getting older as we pass through?
For anyone interested in my charity walk - see under Charities in this website of Sean's - I have decided just recently that this year must be the one when I get over to England and walk with Peter around Britain.
All we need is another 8,000 pounds sterling (not too much when you say it quickly) and I'm hoping to get the necessary sponsorship really soon - but don't let that stop any of you putting your hand in your pocket to help us along, now!
If all goes according to my latest update to my plan, I'll walk in Rotorua Marathon on 3 May, and fly out of Auckland Airport on 9 May - this year! A lot depends on getting airline sponsorship, caravan site camping fees, and petrol subsidies!! HeeHee!
Peter in Hereford is donating the use of his vehicle and caravan free for the WALK, and we may be adding one other walker to our duo - making it a trio of charity walkers! (If you've ever read "Calendar Girl" or seen the film "Calendar Girls", you'll see that maybe I'm trying to stretch the number of walkers to be 11?
Yes, Sean, I very much like what you've done with this website. It just keeps getting better.
